Tome Ceramics is a boutique function ware company that embraces both craft and fine art with the same passion and zeal recognizing that all forms of creation come from the same place. All Tome Ceramic pieces are done in small batches if not each an original piece, which makes them limited in number and a highly sought after.

Carla Tome, founder of Tome Ceramics is a native of Los Angeles with a BFA from San Francisco Art Institute living in North East Los Angeles, she has been working with ceramics practically half her life. Carla's work, both sculptural and function ware, express what she calls an abstract organic influence; i.e. either to replicate or draw from forms, colors, details or processes in the natural world.
